The ancient exercise has been practiced in Ancient Greece using to train the best armies of the Ancient World. The Spartans were well known for using the practice to perform at their best for battle. As far back as the Spartan Warriors bodyweight movements and functional training was an important part of preparing they’re elite army to become more powerful and keeping their bodies in warrior condition.
